The fine needle art of Kashmir is famous all over the world. One can find their needle art in Pashmina Shawls, Silk or woolen carpets and embroidered home textiles and decor.
A tradition, that has already impressed the ancient Mughal kings of India and Persia, who then decorated their palaces with these unique and breathtaking pieces of art.

Each piece is unique and has been crafted with care and quality in a small family-run workshop in Kashmir.
It takes more than one person to finish this one of a kind pieces of art:
The work is divided into printing (hand block stamp), dyeing of the woolen thread with natural (vegetable) colors, cutting the sizes and tailoring, needlework (aari) by the artisans, and special washing- finishing so that the colors will last a lifetime. So for each cushion at least 5 people put their craft and love into the final product.
